  • PR Property Management ensures transparency in its dealing with all stakeholders, including tenants therefore, it is important for tenants to understand and know what will help them through their occupation of rented residential property.
  • Guidelines to tenants that will help in a rewarding and enjoyable experience to make a rental property your home.
  • We ensure our communication is clear and process transparent during the tenancy.
  • We ensure all tenancy agreements are in writing between parties, this could be periodic or fixed term tenancies.
  • Inform tenants that it is common for landlords to require a bond at the beginning of a tenancy. The maximum bond allowed by law is equivalent to four weeks’ rent.
  • Ensure bond be lodged with Tenancy Services within 23 working days of receipt.
  • Rent is usually paid weekly or fortnightly
  • Inform tenants that landlords may demand upto two weeks’ rent in advance
  • Pay rent on time and in full.
  • Prompt response to tenant for requests for repairs and maintenance of property during tenancy.
  • Communicate to tenants to keep the property reasonably clean and tidy.
  • Request tenants to notify us promptly of any damage or need for repairs.
  • Use the premises for residential purposes only, unless the landlord agrees otherwise in writing.
  • Not cause or allow intentional damage to the property.
  • Inform tenants to allow us reasonable access to property for repairs and inspections and provide appropriate notice for the same.
  • Leave the property in good condition at the end of the tenancy, except for fair wear and tear.
  • Refund of bond: At the end of the tenancy PR property management helps tenants collect their bond amounts by submitting necessary applications, however the bond may be used to cover unpaid rent, damage, or other costs incurred by the landlord, but tenants must agree to any deductions unless the Tenancy Tribunal intervenes.
